AI Usage Statement

Our Approach to Artificial Intelligence

At hps.gd, we recognise artificial intelligence as a valuable tool that enhances the quality and efficiency of our services. Our staff use AI across all aspects of our work, from research and analysis to documentation and communication.

Transparency and Disclosure

We are committed to full transparency regarding our use of AI. We will:

  • Clearly identify where AI has been used to create content, either through inline notation within documents or through separate supplementary files or folders that detail AI usage
  • Provide copies of all AI-generated information (including transcripts, summaries, analyses, and other outputs) to all relevant stakeholders. For example, meeting summaries will be shared with all participants in the relevant meeting
  • Maintain clear documentation of how and where AI tools have been applied to any work product we deliver

Human Oversight and Quality Assurance

We keep a qualified human in the loop at every stage where AI is used. This human oversight ensures, to the best of our ability, that:

  • All AI-generated outputs are accurate, contextually appropriate, and fit for purpose
  • Content aligns with your requirements and expectations
  • Any limitations or uncertainties in AI outputs are identified and communicated

Consistency with Our Privacy and Data Commitments

Our use of AI is fully consistent with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We maintain the same standards of data protection, confidentiality, and compliance with Australian Privacy Principles regardless of whether content is AI-generated or created through traditional means.

Opting Out of AI Use

We respect that some clients may prefer to work with hps.gd without the use of AI. If you wish to opt out of AI use on your project, please let us know - no questions asked. We understand the concerns and challenges that AI introduces, and we accept your preference without requiring justification or explanation.

Please be aware that opting out of AI use may result in:

  • Extended timelines for project delivery
  • Reduced quality of certain deliverables
  • Increased project costs

Where any of these factors apply, we will discuss the implications with you at the appropriate point in the engagement and work with you to find a mutually acceptable path forward.
